New Murabba — Mukaab District

The Mukaab is large enough to contain twenty Empire State Buildings. The challenge of the project was less the cube and more the city wrapped around it: nineteen square kilometres of street, plinth, plaza, and tower that all had to rationalise to one orthogonal grid.

Working as part of the core architecture team at AtkinsRéalis, Omar contributed to master planning, the architecture of plinth-level civic buildings, and the relentless coordination needed to keep one geometry intact across forty disciplines.
