Hejaz Civic Library

The triangular plot is treated as four overlapping squares. Each square holds a courtyard of a different proportion — morning, midday, afternoon, evening — and the reading rooms wrap around them.

A single perforated stone facade unifies the building from the street; from inside, it dissolves into four very different rooms of light.
